Presentations and Webinars

I'm available for presentations and webinars to a range of audiences. In recent years I have presented to the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists, University of Canterbury Health Centre, Waitaha Health, ADHD New Zealand, the Australasian Association of ADHD Professionals, and ASB.

My presentation style is relaxed and evidence-based, with the occasional opinion thrown in. I bring both clinical experience (12+ years working with adults of all ages with mental health problems, and six years of working with adults with ADHD and/or autism) and a lived-experience perspective as a parent of two neurodivergent children.

Recent presentation topics have included:

  • ADHD assessment and diagnosis

  • Advocating for yourself with medical professionals

  • ADHD symptoms across the lifespan

  • Female hormones and neurodivergence across the lifespan, including perimenopause and menopause

You can get a sense of the breadth of topics I'm comfortable with by browsing my blog.

I receive consistently good feedback. Presentations are described as informative, authoritative, honest, and (apparently) funny.

Presentations can be in person or online via platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. They can be structured with PowerPoint slides and resource suggestions, or less formal interviews or chats on topics. Lengths can range from one hour to half-day. Usually, a few emails or a phone call are all that is needed to determine the audience and topic. Each presentation is tailored to requirements.

Rates vary depending on audience type and format; corporate rates differ from community/NGO rates. If you would like to talk to me about a presentation or webinar, please email me.
